If ever there was a backward warranty, you guys get it, Is that right, or am I dreaming yet again?

For some reason, I thought that the 722.6 tranny in these things was covered by a 7yr/70k warranty. FYI: I have both Dodge dealerships and Freightliner delerships in my area.Īnd what about the engine/transmission? The place I bought the van from stated that the van was covered for 5 years/100,000 miles on the engine, but had no coverage on the transmission other than the bumper-to-bumper warranty. If the van needs warranty work, can I take it to any Dodge dealership, or are there only certain dealerships which will service Sprinters? I have a MB indy that can do regular maintenance/addon's if I want, but am not sure as to warranty-related work, should I ever need any. If that's correct, that means I have warranty coverage until April, 2009 or 36k - whichever comes correct. The Sprinter is covered with a 3 year / 36k bumper-to-bumper warranty, correct? The place I bought the van from told me that this particular van was purchased new in April of 2006, and thus, the warranty coverage began at the time of purchase. It seems I'm having a bit of a discrepancy with the warranty info.
